Supporters' Committee Elections

Spirit of Shankly continues to have misgivings about the way club's owners, FSG, use the LFC Supporters’ Committee as a shield from proper scrutiny and supporter involvement in decision making. However, we also recognise that engagement with supporters is crucial to maintaining unity of purpose in and around the club and that the LFC Supporters' Committee can be an important conduit for communication between club & supporters.

Spirit of Shankly continues to have dialogue with the Club on many levels, including through the Union endorsed candidates that have already been voted onto the Supporters’ Committee. We wish to increase the effectiveness of this dialogue by seeking Spirit of Shankly members willing to stand as Union endorsed candidates in the forthcoming elections for the following vacant LFC Supporters' Committee posts.

1.    Non season ticket holders and members
2.    Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME)
3.    Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT)
4.    Official Supporters' Clubs

If you are a paid up member of the Union and wish to be considered as a Spirit of Shankly endorsed candidate in the LFC Supporters' Committee elections please email your expression of interest to: secretary@spiritofshankly.com

Spirit of Shankly candidates who are successfully elected to  the LFC Supporters' Committee will be able to count upon the Union's support in their role and, in return, will be expected to take part in Union activities as a co-opted member of the Spirit of Shankly Management Committee.
