Supporters to visit rail seating at Celtic
Wednesday 28 March 2018

Following our overwhelming vote in favour of rail seating being introduced into football grounds, Spirit of Shankly committed to digesting the result and looking at what the next steps might be. Given the size of the vote, and the debate taking place nationally, it was right that we committed to find out more. This Saturday, as part of that process, we will visit Celtic Park. Thanks to the g... Read more

Given the severity of these incidents... Read more

Ten Years of the Union
Wednesday 31 January 2018

Time tends to pass fairly quickly, and against the history of Liverpool FC, a decade isn’t much. Today, 31 January, marks 10 years since a meeting in The Sandon pub of 350 supporters. Angry at Tom Hicks and George Gillett burdening the club with debt and more, we met to discuss passionately what we should do. From a suggestion in the room that night, a vote was taken and a decision mad... Read more

Supporting Huddersfield Foodbank
Monday 29 January 2018

In solidarity with the people of Huddersfield, Spirit of Shankly are appealing to Liverpool fans travelling to the John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday 30 January to lend their support to the area's local foodbank. Supporters of Huddersfield Town made donations to the local foodbank when they visited Anfield in October, and we hope we can reciprocate their generosity.  The drop-o... Read more
