Annual General Meeting - 24th September 2016

*UPDATE - PLEASE NOTE THE MEETING VENUE HAS CHANGED. IT WILL NOW TAKE PLACE IN THE CABBAGE HALL PUB*

 

We can confirm that our next Annual General Meeting will be held on Satuday 24th September 2016, prior to the Liverpool versus Hull City match at Anfield. The meeting will start at 12:00 noon, in The Cabbage Hall pub (Breck Road) with the usual business to include an update on work so far, discussion on resolutions and the union's finances. A full agenda will be circulated in advance of the meeting. 

Ahead of the this, those who wish to stand for election to the Management Committee, are invited to do so. This is on a volunteer basis and you will be asked to contribute to the work of the union and attend meetings (approximately 6-8 per year), held in Liverpool. To stand, you must:
 
- Submit your nomination by 5pm on Friday 9th September 2016
- Be a paid up member of Spirit Of Shankly by close of nominations and your nomination must be proposed and supported by a fellow member.

In the event of more nominations than positions available, a vote amongst members will take place. 
 
Also at the AGM, we will discuss resolutions submitted by members. If you wish to submit a resolution, please do so by emailing secretary@spiritofshankly.com, with your name, seconder of the resolution, resolution name and the content for the resolution (no more than 350 words) by 5pm on Friday 9th September 2016.
